The Law Office of Stan M Doerrer, PLLC working with co-counsel, is investigating a potential class action lawsuit consisting of consumer claims arising from a data breach reported by Shields Health Care. In June, 2022, Shields Health Care Group confirmed publicly that it had become aware of suspicious activity on it network on March 28, 2022 that may have involved compromised data. Its subsequent investigation revealed that “an unknown actor had gained access to certain Shields systems from March 7, 2022 to March 21, 2022,” and that the unknown actor had gained access to “certain data.” In its recent statement, it specifically disclosed that hackers had obtained information including full name, social security number, dates of birth, home address, provider information, diagnosis billing information, insurance, and other very sensitive data.
